Alec
Cantor

Alec Cantor is a Pittsburgh based software engineer. He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he studied computer engineering. During his time in college, he participated in a variety of marching ensembles playing bass drum. He spent one fall with the University of Pittsburgh marching band. For drum corps, his experience includes three summers in DCA, including two summers with the Bushwackers and a championship winning summer with the Reading Buccaneers. Additionally, he did two summers in DCI with Carolina Crown. In WGI, Alec did two winters with Matrix Open, a winter with George Mason University, and a winter with Rhythm X.

In addition to his marching experience, Alec has been teaching drum line since 2017. He has taught eight indoor season between Elizabeth Forward High School and North Allegheny High School. He has also taught five seasons of marching band at North Allegheny High School and five seasons at Kiski Area High School.
