Evan Brown

Evan Brown serves as a freelance sound designer and consultant in the pageantry arts and is excited to be with the Pittsburgh home team NOMAD again for the 2025 season! Evan's current and past client list has consisted of audio design or consulting positions with Phantom Regiment, Spirit of Atlanta, The Cadets, Oregon Crusaders, The Glassmen, Matrix (World & Open), Cap City Percussion, OCindoor, Dartmouth HS, Victor J. Andrew HS, Kiski Area HS, Norwin HS, Moon Area HS, Grapevine HS, Dickinson HS, and many others. Evan was also involved in the start of Three Rivers Indoor Percussion, which preceded NOMAD in the Pittsburgh Area.

 

Additionally, he is also the Percussion Director and Assistant Band Director at North Allegheny High School in Wexford, PA, where he has been a part of the program since 2009. 

 

Evan holds a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Music from Slippery Rock University, and is a Remo artist. During the day, Evan is a Key Account Manager for the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and resides in Valencia, PA with his wife Maggie and their dog Gatsby.
